Overview
I have had a keen interest in photography since I was young, however,
it is only since I was 18 or so, that I have been able to pursue my
hobby.
I
started off by using a Nokia 6880 and then an N70 from around 2005 until
late 2006, although I also made use of my mothers Kodak CX7300. It took
a while, but I began to realise that to really progress to the next
level, I would need to purchase a proper camera, with an optical zoom.
So I purchased a 4.23mp Kodak CX6445 which featured a 4x optical zoom
Schneider Kreuznach lens. Although from the specs I imagined this camera
would be fine for many years, I just wasn't entirely happy with it. I
needed more zoom and craved higher quality.
So in early 2007, after studying many reviews on the internet of various
camera's, I decided to take the plunge and purchased a Fuji Finepix
S6500 "bridge" camera. With its 10.7x optical zoom lens, high max ISO of
3200, the impressive Fuji 6th generation SuperCCD sensor, along with
many other features, it has turned out to be an impressive all round
performer.
The aim of this website is to showcase my work to the public. I maintain
this website and do photography solely as a hobby and I hope you enjoy
it!
